Komazawa Park International School is an acclaimed international preschool and kindergarten situated in the heart of Tokyo, Japan. Komazawa Park International School lies in a quiet residential area, along the edge of Komazawa Olympic Park in Setagaya. Komazawa Park International School is a living institution: it throbs with laughter, cries, songs, the pitter-patter of tiny feet, and the shrill of excitement of happy children. At KPIS, our students love coming to school, and they love playing with their friends and being with their teachers. You can see it on their faces and hear it in their voices when you walk into our classrooms.

Early childhood is such a wonderful time for children, and we need to be careful how we raise them during this precious period. Because children are fragile beings, it’s important to protect them and provide them with a nurturing environment, yet at the same time give them room to grow and experience things by themselves. Our school’s balanced curriculum taught in English and Japanese allows children to mature naturally and at their own pace. We give our students structure and the freedom to choose, and we give them emotional and physical security.

Courses / Programs:
- Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten Programs for children 18 months – 6 years old.
- Programs are taught in English and Japanese.
- Opening hrs 8:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday to Friday
- Extended Child Care & Babysitting Services available until 5:00 p.m.

Our Programs incorporates basic theories of Montessori and Steiner. They focus on the sound development of mind and body in each student.
