International School Villa Amalienhof (ISVA) is a non-profit, international, co-educational, English-language day school for children aged 3 to 18 located in Berlin-Spandau to the west of Berlin, east of Germany. We offer exclusive, quality English language education to local and international children. We are committed to excellence in education and believe that outstanding teachers are the key. The International School serves as a home base for international students, while providing a cosmopolitan environment for local Berliners. We consider the needs of each individual. The language of instruction at the International School Villa Amalienhof is English. The school follows the English National Curriculum from nursery through to sixth form and is the only school in Berlin that offers A-levels (Advanced Levels). These university entrance examinations are recognised and accepted worldwide, including Germany. Many of our students go on to prestigious universities in England and the US.

English is the language of instruction. Subjects include English, German, maths, science, history, geography, art and design, music, physical education.

The International School Villa Amalienhof is located in tranquil, spacious parkland in Berlin-Spandau to the west of Berlin near Wilhelmstadt. The historic, former manor house lies in the midst of a sprawling enclosed campus and is the hub of a modern, well-equipped centre for learning. With its nearly 15 acres (6 hectares) of grounds, the school offers not only ample space for numerous sports activities such as basketball and football, but also room for innovative open air classes and peaceful, reflective study. During break times the campus offers a host of opportunities for outdoor play and discovery. The local pool is also popular with the children, where they attend swimming lessons.

The International School Villa Amalienhof is located within the Berlin city limits, yet offers the peace and quiet of a country estate.

We teach boys and girls from the ages of 3 to 18 in modern, well-equipped classrooms. There are two libraries, a science laboratory, two IT suites, interactive whiteboards and a computer in each classroom. We follow the English National Curriculum, which fulfils the academic requirements of international university study, while at the same time helping each individual to develop into a mature, responsible person.
