Yeats Language School is situated in Sligo on the North West coast of Ireland. On the banks of the Garavogue River, it is a beautiful and idyllic setting for a language learning experience. With a supportive management structure, teaching team and office staff, YLS provides tuition for a range of courses from General English to English for Specific Purposes. The purpose built year round school provides high quality tuition for a diverse mix of students from all over the world. Our adult courses operate year round while our junior programmes operate from June to September. We also operate a Winter / Spring Junior School Programme from October to May. The school has become widely respected for its warm and personal atmosphere, its small classes and a diverse mix of international students from all over the world. Teachers and Staff:
Our teachers are all university teaching graduates and are qualified to teach English as a foreign language. The majority of staff have been teaching for many years and have taught abroad. They bring a wide range of both academic and life experience to their teaching. Through regular teacher meetings the Director of Studies monitors the students' progress and makes any necessary changes to levels. This ensures optimum learning outcomes.
