St. Patricks Academy, West of Ireland:
St. Patrick's Academy lies approximately six miles from both Castlebar and Westport in Co. Mayo, in the west of Ireland. Knock International Airport is only forty five minutes away. St. Patricks Academy opened in 1985 as a private, Catholic, independent secondary school providing full time education for boarding and day students. On-campus boarding is available to boys only and assistance is provided for the placement of girls wishing to board with selected local families.

The school was founded as a student-friendly place where young people could learn and grow academically, spiritually and physically in a safe, caring, environment. The Academy is proud of its success with pupils who have experienced emotional or educational difficulties. Character formation and personal spiritual development with high academic standards are our primary objectives. We provide a well-balanced education based on an assessment of each student's abilities and particular needs. Every effort is made to personalized the course of study to the individual pupil.
