Italian Courses in Dublin, Ireland
Istituto Italiano di Cultura: The Istituto Italiano di Cultura, situated in an early nineteenth century Georgian building in the centre of Dublin, was established in 1954 with the aim of fostering and increasing the already existing links between Italy and Ireland. The Italian Cultural Institute acts not only as an image of Italy and as useful source of information on the Italian system, but is also the driving force behind the cultural initiatives and cooperation. It represents also the fundamental reference point for the Italian community abroad and is the centre of the growing demand of Italian culture around the world. Scholarships: A number of language schools in Italy offer study grants (generall y covering fees for short-term summer and autumn course) to students of the IIC who have made excellent progress during the year.

Our language courses are divided into three basic levels: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. Each level is then sub-divided into three sub-levels, so at Beginners level we have three courses: Beginners 1, Beginners 2, and Beginners 3.
Each level compares to specific areas of linguistic studies and development, which are coverede in a specific structure.
This flexibility of this structure gives students greater control over the progress of their studies.
All courses are grammar based and follow a specific textbook. We currently work with the following textbooks: Rete! Progetto Italiano Espresso
Diploma It is possible to take an internal Diploma exam at the end of an advanced grammar course. The Diploma is awarded by the IIC to those students who have completed the relevant course and passed the appropriate examination.
IT Certificato - Rome 3 Exams These exams usually take place in our offices on the second Saturday of June. This exam consists of 5 modules: Ascolto; Lettura; Composizione; Usi e Forme di Italiano; Parlato.
