Since 1995 we have been a higly specialized Italian language centre in Venice, Italy. Our purpose is to create a great situation that allows students to learn without stress, in a relaxed atmosphere, where committment and fun are in the right mix.

For many years, Istituto Venezia has been promoting and supporting the teaching of Italian language:
* it coordinates Venice International University courses of Italian for foreigners (V.I.U. is Università Ca' Foscari, Istituto Universitario di Architettura, Ludwig-Maximilians Universität-Munich, Tel Aviv University, Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Waseda University Tokyo and Duke University Durham).
* it runs internships and work placements for the Postgraduate Teaching programme of Italian for Foreigners of Ca' Foscari University, Laboratorio Itals.
* it hosts Italian classes for the international association "Intercultura".
* it organizes study abroad programmes of several American universities.

Istituto Venezia is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. It is a member of:
* Asils, Association of Schools of Italian as a Second Language.
* Tandem International, International Network of Quality Language Institutes.

The teaching methodology is based on a fully communicative approach that promotes and encourages students’ active participation. It aims at developing oral and written communication skills. A wide variety of up-to-date authentic material is used in class, as valuable examples of real communication, thus introducing the students to Italian culture and society.
