Standard Italian Course:
The school offers courses for students at all levels, from beginners wishing to learn the basics of a new language to more advanced students who want to develop and refine their language skills. Trained in modern techniques of teaching Italian as a second language, ouItalian Language Schools / Classesr teachers tailor their lessons to the needs of each student, and create a lively atmosphere for learning.

Our courses vary also according to class size and duration. As regards class size, students can choose between classes of 6 -10 students, smaller group classes of 3-5 students, and personal one-to-one classes. Regarding course duration, a STANDARD course lasts three weeks, and consists of 45 contact hours, while a PLUS course lasts three weeks, and consists of 60 contact hours.

Students’ abilities will first be assessed in a pre-course placement test. At the end of the course, students’ progress will be evaluated and certified in a test, conforming to the standards of the Common European Framework which measures students’ levels from beginner, A1 and A2, to intermediate, B1 and B2, and advanced, C1 and C2.

Students in groups are also encouraged to participate in the free extra-curricular activities which the school organizes, with the aim of stimulating language learning and socialization through participating in the city’s various cultural events.

Commercial Italian:
This is essential for those who wish to work in Italy or in foreign companies with business relations to Italy.

Italian or sicilian literature:
A study of the main literary movements in Italy and sicily from, through the reading of extracts from the most important texts.

Italian Cinema:

A journey through the films of directors who have made Italian film, and Italy itself, famous throughout the world.

Italian music:

This is aimed at stimulating language-learning through Italian songs, including the study of traditional Sicilian folk songs and its particular instruments.

Italian cookery:

A wonderful journey through the unique tastes and smells of Mediterranean cuisine, product of centuries of cultural exchange, through the preparation of traditional recipes.
