Since 1992, in addition to Junior Programme, we offer a wide range of Italian language and culture courses, sector-based Italian language courses (economics, legal, architectural etc.), culture courses (history, art history, literature etc.), art courses (painting, sculpture, fresco painting etc.), cooking courses and music courses.

During your stay here in Florence you’ll be living with an Italian family, carefully selected by our school’s staff. Rooms will be shared with another student of the same gender, normally of a similar age.

- Prepared Meals
Your host family will prepare breakfast for you in the morning before school, as well as providing you with an evening meal; an opportunity to interact with your family in a relaxed atmosphere and practise your language skills! From Monday to Friday, lunch will be organised by the school.

- Close Proximity to the School
Should we go on a trip on the weekend, your host family will provide you with a packed lunch. Most families live in close proximity of the school, however it is possible that some require the use of public transportation.

The Language House
Courses / Programs
The Language House is a cross cultural program that offers Italian language holidays and Italian immersion programs for adults and teenagers in Florence, Milan and Genoa, Italy. Our Intensive Italian language courses take place all year round, from Monday to Friday, usually from 9am to 1pm (20 hours a week). Students take a placement test in order to be placed at an appropriate level.

Our classes are very small (max.10 people) and no matter the location are held in the city centre. We feel that small class sizes are essential to facilitate the learning process and ensure that focus is placed on the learning requirements of the individual student, and on helping him/her to overcome any difficulties in a friendly environment. The range of courses offered allows the student to adapt the program to their individual needs.

Our clients also take advantage of immersing themselves for several months with our Multi-Country Adventure Program where you can combine language training in more than one country as well as include our TESOL course and/or a short-term internship.
Intensive Italian courses at seven levels: beginner, elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced and proficiency according to European standards.

International Language Camps, French Alps
Courses / Programs
International Language Camps (ILC) provides a range of fun language and activity-based summer and winter camps for children and teenagers ages 7-17 from around the world.

We offer holidays and vacations with a multitude of activities and a complete French and / or English language teaching program, all in the heart of the French Alps. Students can choose to stay for 1-6 weeks.

Our summer and winter camps take place in Megève, a French ski resort in the Savoy Alps, close to Switzerland and Italy. The nearest international airport is Geneva which is only 75km away (transfers from Geneva airport are available).

Our participants have the opportunity to study a foreign language by total immersion in an international setting with a multi-lingual team from all over the world. As well as French / English language classes, students can also take part in all sorts of sports including mountaineering, orienteering, water sports, skiing, snowboard, ice-skating, and more.

Our campers become international citizens by living in a multicultural context with continuous interaction among peers, which naturally leads to the respect of others.

All of this takes place in an environment which is friendly and secure, the essential building blocks of constructive and stimulating learning.
