NPO Genki Japanese And Culture School:
Genki Japanese and Culture School (GenkiJACS) is an NPO (Non-Profit Organization) communicational Japanese language school that offers short-term study abroad courses, learning Japanese language and culture in a relaxed and friendly environment. We are located in Tenjin, the heart of Fukuoka City, in Kyushu, South Japan.
We offer courses in a range of areas, including conversational Japanese, Japanese through pop culture, Japanese culture, and study for exams, all with an emphasis on practical work, inside and outside of the classroom. Class content and teaching style is focused mainly on the needs of Western students, unlike most other language schools. For students coming from overseas to study abroad at our language school, we can prepare a range of accommodation options including homestays, and arrange various activities for the duration of your stay. We're here to make your Japanese learning worthwhile and enjoyable.

Courses / Programs:
1. Standard Course
For people who need to be able to communicate in Japanese, this course offers a heavy emphasis on real-life skills.

2. Intensive Conversation Course
This course builds on the standard course by adding one extra very-small-group conversational Japanese lesson each day.

3. Japanese and Traditional Culture
You will study topics such as ceramics, tea ceremony, calligraphy, and flower arrangement at school, and then join real lessons run for Japanese people with a specialist teacher.

4. Japanese Through Pop Culture
This course uses all the latest trends in Japanese pop culture to teach you the Japanese language as it is really spoken today.
