Horizon Japan International School was originally established as an International Mainstream School in 2003, which encompassed preschool, kindergarten and primary school. As we enriched our educational programs following the Cambridge International Curriculum, we had increased number of students, which led to the establishment of the Middle School in 2008. The number of students still has been growing and now we have over 100 students from 20 different nationalities. HJIS is strongly committed to developing an international and multi-cultural perspective among our students and parents. We are working with other schools around the world, and setting new standards of excellence to prepare our students to meet the challenges of the future.

Preschool Programme; Primary School Programme through to Middle School with the following subjects following the Cambridge International Curricula: English Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, Japanese Language, Art, Library, Music, Physical Education and ICT.

Horizon Japan International School is authorized to operate by the Japanese Government, ensuring that the institution meets government standards. Additionally, HJIS is accredited by Cambridge International Programme, and also a member of ECIS, which guarantee the quality of educational programme.
