Templaria Litterae, Offida:
Situated in Offida in the province of Ascoli Piceno in the Marche region of central Italy, Templaria Litterae specialises in teaching foreign students the Italian language and culture. The courses are taught by highly trained instructors who specialise in teaching Italian as a Foreign Language. Our teaching method is based on modern techniques, which aim to immerse the student in the Italian language and enable him/her to develop the core skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

In addition to our language courses, Templaria Litterae offers students the option of participating in extra-curricular activities, including cookery courses, the art of “Tombolo” and embroidery, regional/cultural excursions and gastronomic tours. Offida is a medieval town in the Italian region of Marche and a cultural gem of a place in which to learn Italian. Offida is also only 20 minutes away from the famous seaside locality of the “Riviera delle Palme”, the pearl of the Adriatic coast.

Cultural Activities:
Students may participate in any of the following extra-curricular activities:

- Guided tours: museums, theatres, churches, art galleries and wonderful Piceno towns
- Group dinners, cooking festivals and medieval banquets
- Italian cooking course – learn how to cook typical ‘Piceno’ dishes
- The ancient art of embroidery and “tombolo”
- Gastronomic tours of the region’s best farmhouses and wineries
- Agricultural activities such as grape picking and olive harvesting (depending upon the time of year in which you visit)
- Excursions to the Piceno countryside, bicycle tours and horse riding


Accommodation:

The school can provide the following accommodation for students:

1) Double room in an apartment, sharing with other students;
2) Single room in an apartment, sharing with other students;
3) Single room, living with an Italian family;
4) Single room in Bed and Breakfast, Farmhouse or Hotel in the area (breakfast included), with the option of Full or Half Board and transfers to the school.

The apartments are located very near to the school and shops. All accommodation includes a weekly change of sheets and weekly cleaning. Bath towels are not provided.

The following facilities are shared with the other students: bathroom, kitchen (with use of washing machine, iron etc.) and television.
