Cela Spanish School, Venezuala:
Learn Spanish in the Caribbean in small groups all year round. Cela Spanish School is located in in Playa el Angel in Pampatar on the Caribbean island of Isla de Margarita, Venezuala, only 30 minutes away from Venezuela’s mainland at the northern tip of South America. We offer Spanish courses for 5 levels, and also Spanish courses for special purposes such as health, law, and business. The Spanish courses are offered in small groups. It is also possible to book one on one lessons. Our Spanish courses also include 3 excursions per week and accommodation in a host family on Isla Margarita. We highly recommend the accommodation in Venezuelan host families, because it will reinforce our work in the classroom through practise of the Spanish language in a natural social environment. From Margarita Island you can easily book excursions to Mérida, Angel Falls, Los Roques and other popular places in Venezuela. The island is the perfect place to practice windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Standard Spanish Group Courses:
Spanish Language courses in small groups at CELA Spanish School on Margarita Island
The Spanish language courses at CELA Spanish School on Margarita Island are offered in classes with a maximum of 7 students. There are 5 levels of instruction: Beginner, Intermediate A, Intermediate B, Advanced and Superior. Each level is 50 periods of 45 minutes (2 weeks).
The group courses consist of 25 lessons per week (45 min each) from Mon
day to Friday from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm. In the afternoon participants join our free excursions three times a week to the most beautiful places on the Island.
Private tuition:
If you prefer to learn Spanish in your own rythm with special attention to your interests and needs, private tuition is the best alternative for learning as much as possible in a short time.
You can choose between 10 and 20 lessons (45 Min) per week. The price for the one on one lessons also includes the excursions. The one on one lessons are only possible in the afternoons.
For private students the excursions will take place in the mornings. The teaching material will be provided by the school.
The one on one lessons are available for all Spanish levels and our courses for special purposes like health, law, business, tourism and preparation for the DELE.
Spanish language courses for business / Spanish language courses for law:
CELA Spanish School has designed Spanish language courses for special purposes and specific professions that require a vocabulary that is not commonly focused on in general Spanish courses. Besides Spanish language courses for medicine, CELA also offers Spanish courses for business or law professions.
Some advantages:
* The Spanish course is specially designed for professionals and students with an interest in this field.
* Participants will improve communication with Spanish speaking colleagues and clients or customers and learn about the Venezuelan legal or economic system.
* You can choose between one and four weeks of classes, 25 hours per week.
* Small groups, max. 7 participants or one to one lessons.
* After the completion of the classroom instruction the school will help organizing a suitable placement to practice your Spanish skills in an actual working environment, which will provide an excellent source of future 
contacts.
* During the course we organize excursions and activities three days a week.
* Teaching material.
* Accommodation in homes with breakfast and dinner, apartments or hotels are available.
* The lessons will be held in the afternoon from 2.00 until 6.15 pm
For this course a working knowledge of basic Spanish is required.
Medical Spanish:
As communication with the Spanish speaking patient and colleagues is gaining importance, CELA Spanish School has designed this Spanish course for the medical professions. The medical Spanish course is dedicated to any kind of health care professionals and also students of the corresponding careers.
The main goal of the Spanish course for medicine is to improve the Spanish language skills in order to be able to communicate with patients, gain confidence and be able to help to recover and maintain himself and his family healthy.
The course consists of a Spanish course focused on medicine, held in the afternoons from 2.00 to 6.15 pm (25 lessons, 45 min per week).
The school can help organizing an internship for those students who are physicians or medical students in the last semester, and will be on the island at least 2 weeks. If you are interested in an internship you have to send in the following documents:
* Complete resume
* Copy of the matriculation in the university
* Copy of your accreditation for practicing medicine (if you are physician)
* A personal letter exposing your interests and motives for the internship
Spanish for the Tourism industry:
CELA Spanish School has designed Spanish language courses for special purposes and specific professions that require a vocabulary which is not commonly focused on general Spanish courses. We combine classroom instruction with Spanish language practice in an actual working environment.

his Spanish language course is designed for people who work in travel agencies,for tour operators, hotel employees, incentives and event agencies or for any other person working in the tourism industry.
Beside some of the most important grammar aspects of the Spanish language we focus on the theoretical and practical parts of this field.
The course will be held in the afternoons from 2.00 until 6.15 pm
For this course, a working knowledge of basic Spanish is required.
DIE:
You can take the examination for the Diploma Internacional de Español, DIE at Cela Spanish Language School at the end of your Spanish course on Margarita Island.
The DIE is offered in 10 levels of proficiency from beginner to advanced. It is valid internationally and issued by Fidescu and the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca/Spain. There are also examinations for tourism, law, business, medicine and Spanish teachers.
In general, one week course at Cela Spanish School corresponds to one level of the DIE. Yo can also take the written version of this exam at our school.
DELE:
For students who would like to prepare for the DELE (Official Spanish Diploma as a Foreign Language, from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, and the Universidad de Salamanca), CELA offers a special course with 25 lessons per week, group courses and 10 individual lessons mostly in the afternoons.
General information about the DELE:
DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) is an official exam for Spanish as a foreign language of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, the Universidad de Salamanca and the Instituto Cervantes.
The exam can be taken twice a year in 59 countries worldwide and in 215 cities in Spain, normally in two sessions, in May and November. It is not offered in Venezuela, so you have to take it in your country of residence.
