Children's Village Preschool in Orange County, approximately 3 miles north of Santa Ana, is a developmental, play based preschool offering programs to children from ages 18 months to 6 years. We strive to challenge children’s creativity and to be aware and respectful of their emotional needs, and to support and facilitate their social development by providing opportunities for children to build positive self-esteem.
We welcome and respect the diversity of cultures and encourage every member of our center to share their culture with us. We are facilitators of children’s development fostering their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development for life long learning.
Our philosophy at Children's Village Preschool is based on the belief that children learn best when exposed to a challenging environment that offers a variety of meaningful hands-on activities and experiences. We believe that children should be allowed to explore their surroundings in order to develop a good sense of problem solving and decision-making.
Montessori Country Academy is a child care center offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children ages 18 months to 6 years in Elk Grove, Sacramento County. Children are placed in multi-aged classrooms with attention to their ability and development, rather than strictly by age. In this way, children progress through the curriculum at their own rate and learn according to their specific interests and abilities.
Established in 1998 by Christine Mendoza and Julie Green, Montessori Country Academy provides a strong and vital Montessori-based educational experience for children in the Elk Grove and Sacramento area. The school has grown over the years to serve many children, ages 18 months to 6 years. We keep teacher-student ratios low to allow for individualized attention in a quiet and nurturing environment.
Located in La Canada, between Pasadena and Glendale in Los Angeles County, CA, The Child Educational Center (CEC) offers infant, preschool and school-age programs for children from 2 months to 12 years from La Canada, Glendale, La Crescenta, Pasadena, Altadena and neighbouring communities. Enrollment is open to any child 2 months to 5 years of age for our infant / toddler and preschool program, and any child entering kindergarten through 6th grade for our school-age program without discrimination in regard to sex, race, color, or creed. The most important part of our curriculum is people. As a result, optimal matches are important.
Factors considered in this process include: age, characteristics of development, balance of boys/girls in groups, special needs, adequate clustering of minority children. With the above in mind, children are enrolled in an effort to reflect as much diversity as possible so that children are thriving. Each child is considered as he/she relates to a fit within an already existing group.
The CEC has been continuously accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), since 1989, shortly after accreditation became available.
