We offer 40 hour intensive classes for beginners plus numerous seminars geared to specific areas of make up including bridal make up, fashion make up, make up for print work, runway and tv. Career direction and help will be given - you will learn everything you need to know to be ready to work right away.

About Us:
Media Make-up Academy / Chicago School of Make Up began in 2009 after I realized the tremendous need for professional make up artistry training in the Midwest - especially the Chicago area.

Typically students have to travel to NY and LA where classes become very expensive. Although there are a handful of places in Chicago to take classes - none are taught by an instructor with high end experience in the fashion/print industry.

If you would like to learn the basics to becoming a professional make-up artist as well as have guidance in how to build your portfolio,approach photographers and agencies and eventually work with fashion magazines,catalogues and advertisers-this is a perfect course for you.
