Kinabalu International School, Kota Kinabalu:
Kinabalu International School is a small proud international school of 133 pupils, situated in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (on the beautiful Island of Borneo) in Malaysia. We provide nursery, primary and secondary education to international students providing the highest teaching standards.

We are a member of the Federation of British International Schools in South East Asia (FOBISSEA) & the Council of British Independent Schools in the European Community (COBISEC). Throughout its history, KIS has always been progressive in its commitment to educational excellence. Because Kinabalu International School is owned and managed by the parent body, it will continue to be innovative and sensitive to the needs of the whole school community.

Courses / Programs:
Nursery Program; Primary School Program; Secondary School Program to Year 11 (IGCSE Levels); Our curriculum closely follows the British National Curriculum, with SAT tests at the end of Key Stage 1, 2 & 3. Year 11 pupils sit the GCSE examinations through Cambridge & London Universities. English is the medium of instruction, but Malay or French are also taught.
