Beginner Chinese:This course focuses on the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing for students who have never studied Chinese before. Teachers guide students through conversations about topics they would encounter in everyday life in China while helping students with proper pronunciation and introducing Chinese characters.
Upper Beginner Chinese:This course is designed for students who have completed beginner Chinese or have the equivilent of one semester of college level Chinese. They continue to build on the skills learned in Beginner Chinese and are able to use more complex sentences, tenses, and vocabulary to discuss more complex topics.
Intermediate Chinese:Intermediate Chinese spans the second year of college level Chinese. By the end of the course st
udents will feel comfortable discussing most topics that will come up in daily life. Students continue to learn more complex grammar and vocabulary and work to integrate it into their own spoken coversations.
Advanced Chinese:This course is for students who are comfortable using Chinese to speak about everyday topics but want to learn how to discuss more specific topics and improve their fluency. Students in this class will have the opportunity to read and discuss newspaper articles, talk about topics specific to their career or business field, and write about topics dealing with their career or educational field in the appropriate style.
Intensive Chinese:Covers the same material as our beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes but meets 4 evenings a week. This is a great way for students who want to learn Chinese qu
ickly for their career or for higher education. This is the quickest and most effective way to do it!
Children's Chinese:Classes are designed to take advantage of young learner's strengths. Teachers are all native speakers so students learn to speak Chinese fluently and naturally. Students learn Chinese through fun cultural activities such as songs, stories, games, and music from China. Children not only learn a new language but develop a love for learning about other cultures that can last a lifetime!
On Site Chinese Classes:We can do on site Chinese classes for children or adults at your office, school, or daycare. These classes are tailored to your employees or students needs and are a convenient way to bring Chinese to your people! The teachers we send to you are the same experienced teachers from our regular classes, and we work with you to design a curriculum that meets your students' needs.
Chinese Tutoring:For students who require maximum flexibility for learning Chinese. Tutoring is scheduled directly with our most experienced teachers who will teach you what you want to learn!
