Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology:
Yorkville University, one of the first universities in Canada to focus on online/blended degree programs, has created one of Canada’s most dynamic and practical Masters programs in the field of counselling.

By assembling a first-class and diverse group of professors, the University has established a program that draws on a full range of contemporary research and practice paradigms. The program is designed to give our graduates the strongest possible base from which to start or continue down the path as a professional counsellor.

In an increasingly complex world, the need for counselling and support has never been greater. In developing this program, Yorkville University has diverged from the typical graduate school focus on bUniversities / Graduate Schoolsasic research to a focus on the acquisition and synthesis of knowledge and skills relevant to the practitioner. The program is oriented towards graduating practitioners who are able to quickly put their learning to work in the real world.

Yorkville University prepares students to adapt to these changes using sound judgement, personal resources, and an in-depth understanding of the practical issues confronting the complex world of professional counselling.
