Business School Lausanne:
Founded in 1987, Business School Lausanne is a leading innovator in higher business education for entrepreneurs, and is located in Lausanne, Switzerland (in central Europe), just 40 minutes, by car or train from Geneva and its international airport. The school’s ACBSP accredited degree programs include BBA, pre-MBA, Full-time and Flex MBA, Executive MBA and DBA. BSL takes a pragmatic approach to learning by combing theory with practice and providing a faculty of professors active in business practices.

Courses / Programs:
BSL offers BBA, pre-MBA, Full-time and Flex MBA, Executive MBA and DBA programs. The BBA at BSL is an accelerated full-time, 2 year degree program. The BSL MBA and Executive MBA follow a modular format, which allows flexibility for students. MBA full-time programs are completed in 1 year, and part-time programs between 1.5 and 2 years. The BSL DBA is awarded on the basis of a thesis written under the guidance of a senior faculty member. English is the language of instruction at BSL.

Teaching
Classes at BSL focus on active learning, engaging students directly in the learning process. This means that instead of simply receiving information verbally and visually, students are required to participate and interact. BSL faculty encourages the shy to stand behind great ideas and teaches the extroverted to choose their words wisely if they want others to follow what they are saying. Students in every course are judged on both how much they said, and on how valuable their contribution was to the discussion. Assessment based on the ability to constructively participate is part of business life, and a part of the formation for business success found at BSL.
