Recording and Music Technology Degree Program (60 weeks / 4 semesters):
The Media Institute is the premier college for Recording and Music Production studies. Our Recording and Music Technology program prepares students for careers in music production, pro audio jobs, and studio engineering. Recording and Music Technology students acquire the skills and competencies necessary for entry-level positions in recording engineering, pro audio, music technology, and music production fields. Graduates of this program are qualified for entry-level employment in recording studios, live sound companies, pro audio equipment companies, music technology companies, music software companies, media production companies, and as self-employed music producers or artists.

Students develop a solid skill set in the principles of 3D computer graphics, modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, rendering, compositing, traditional art, storytelling, as well as hands on experience with a professional Motion Capture lab.

The International School of Minnesota (ISM) provides an activity-based summer camp for students from preschool through to Grade 8.

Our school is nestled in a beautiful, wooded area in Eden Prairie MN, less than 30 minutes south-west of Minneapolis. 

Available over 9 weeks, participants are welcome to attend our summer camp for 1 week or several weeks. Full-day programs and half-day programs are available.

Language and Music for Life
Courses / Programs
Founded in 1997, Language and Music for Life (LMFL) offers unique 2-week or 3-week summer music and language courses in Llandovery in south-west Wales, UK.

LMFL provides quality training in classical music, brass, jazz, vocal tuition, English and foreign languages to highly-motivated musicians of all ages (children aged 6+, teenagers & adults).

Designed primarily for highly motivated musicians with a level of musical knowledge enabling them to derive maximum benefit from high quality tuition, the course is open to musicians preparing for national, international exams or competitions, skilled amateurs and "tourist musicians".

The main course is 2 weeks long or 3 weeks with the optional intensive pre-course.

Our Summer Courses 2016 will be hosted by Llandovery College, a day and boarding school in Carmarthenshire, approximately 5 hours by train from London and 1.5 hours from Swansea.

Llandovery College is easily accessible by excellent road and rail links. Cardiff International Airport is just 45 miles away.

During the course, students can take world-recognized Trinity College London exams.

Trinity College London provides exams and qualifications in over 60 countries globally, and LMFL provides our students with the opportunity to take Trinity College London music qualifications.

We will also run a music summer camp in Florence, Italy in 2016 for advanced musicians (children & adults at Grades 7 & 8).

The Ingenium Academy International Music Summer School

Located just one hour south-west of London, The Ingenium Academy provides residential summer music courses in July and August for young musicians (ages 14-18) from all over the world.

Our 1, 2 and 3-week programmes take place in the beautiful and historic city of Winchester, and aim to provide a specialised musical education of the highest calibre combined with an immersive cultural experience for talented teenage instrumentalists and singers. 

Two exceptional musical programmes are offered at our international summer music camp: The Instrumental programme (Piano instruction or Orchestral instruction) where students rehearse and perform as part of The Ingenium World Youth Symphony Orchestra, or the Vocal programme where students study and sing with the Ingenium World Youth Choir. In addition, we provide a range of vocal and musical workshops in classical music, pop, jazz, gospel and opera, as well as evening activities and day trips.
