Learn Modern Greek at Seattle Language Academy. Seattle Language Academy (SLA) is a non-profit language school in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle offering top quality language training in Modern and Ancient Greek. At our Intensive Modern Greek Program you will learn the alphabet, pronunciation, and forms of introduction and greeting as well as language skills necessary for handling a broad variety of communicative situations.

- Modern Greek 101 -
Initial lessons in beginning Modern Greek cover the alphabet, pronunciation, and forms of introduction and greeting. By the end of Modern Greek 101, students know how to place an order, form questions, and give simple descriptions.

- Modern Greek 102 -
In this his lower-intermediate class students learn how to narrate events in the past, present, and future, talk about time and describe daily routines.

- Modern Greek 103 -
In this lower-intermediate class, the present perfect and past perfect tenses are introduced, as well as additional irregular verbs. By the end, students should be able to converse in a variety of situations.

- Modern Greek 104 -
In this intermediate class, students learn the etiquette and vocabulary for writing letters, speaking on the phone, and renting an apartment and additional idioms and expressions pertaining to the family and social gatherings.

- Modern Greek 201-204 -
The second-year series is for students who would like to enhance their speaking abilities, improve their reading and writing skills and deepen their knowledge of Greek culture.

- Modern Greek 300 -
Greek 300 is a Conversation Class for skilled students who wish to continue learning about Modern Greek.
