HIT differs from other audio schools, because here you're always in the studio environment. Class sizes remain small so everyone gets a complete 'hands on' education. We provide every student with their own classroom digital audio workstation, loaded with the latest software and hardware, which functions as their own mini production studio.

Other subjects covered in the Full Time Audio Engineering and Music Production Program include Record Production, Electronic Music and Beat Creation, Surround Sound Mixing and Mastering, Sound Design, Music Business, Sound for Film and New Media, Digital Post Production, Songwriting, Studio Design, Music Theory, Live Sound, and more.

HIT is one of Canada's only Digi Design Sponsored Schools. Pro Tools certification programs are included in our full time audio engineering programs, or can be taken separately.
