Northern School of Sound:
Welcome to Northern School of Sound located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear and are easily reached from Newcastle. We are the first Apple Authorised Training Centre for Pro Apps in the North-East of England, offering professional audio engineering training and courses in video editing software. We also offer professional training in Mac OS X - covering the whole range of Apple Training from OS X basics, to advanced courses. Our short-term courses range from one-day intensive courses to full certification.

We believe in teaching real-world, cutting-edge techniques in technology for the creative industries. As well as courses in Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro, we also deliver training in Ableton Live and Reason - and other courses in subjects from sound design and synthesis, to advanced acoustics.
