Located in Brooklyn, New York, Chic Studios NYC - Studio of Makeup Artistry offers a 4-week professional makeup artistry program as well as a range of short make-up courses and workshops. We are dedicated to providing our aspiring makeup artists with the techniques and skills needed to succeed in the industry of makeup artistry, as well as creative, hands-on training, helpful career guidance and an extended invite into the Chic Studios Community.

- Our experienced leaders and friendly staff offer a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum taught exclusively in a studio environment.
- Our kits consist of top-brand cosmetics, including MAC, Make Up For Ever, Smashbox to name a few.
- Upon taking the course, all students become a lasting member of the Chic Studios Community – a group of professional makeup artists with access to makeup discounts, exclusive events, career counseling and up-to-date notifications of freelance opportunities.

Professional Makeup Artistry Program (4 weeks):
Unlike a cosmetology program, our 4-week program allows students to focus solely on the fundamentals and techniques of makeup artistry. During the final 14 hours of the program, students can study a specific concentration, such as Period Makeup (1920s-Present), TV & Music Video Makeup and Fashion & Runway Makeup. Upon completion of the program, students receive a “Certificate of Professional Makeup Artistry” and have an opportunity to participate in a professional photo shoot to begin their portfolios.
