Paralegal – Advocate Career Diploma Program:
Paralegals, also known as Legal Assistants, are well-paid and highly sought after. Our 12-month Paralegal – Advocate diploma program is accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada, and prepares you to enter the dynamic and challenging legal profession. Learn about all elements of the Canadian legal system, such as procedures and practices litigation, small claims court, and criminal procedure. Gain an understanding of employment law, residential landlord and tenant law, torts, contracts, and more. Paralegals may act as representatives for clients in landlord/tenant matters, federal and provincial tribunals, small claims court, name changes, and minor civil matters.
