Preschool, Elementary & High School Programs (Preschool-12th Grade):
Preschool Programs:
At Eldorado Emerson Private School, our youngest scholars develop academic building blocks and social skills through creative, individualized learning in a nurturing environment with exceptional teachers. Children begin their lifelong love of reading with regular one-on-one reading practice with a classroom teacher and reading specialist using our successful Majelix reading program.
Preschool students also enjoy foreign language and music classes twice each week. By the end of their preschool experience, students feel confident and eager to begin kindergarten. We offer half days and full days from two to five days per week. Before- and after-school care are also available. To be enrolled in preschool, children must be at least 2 years and 9 months old and potty-trained.
Elementary School Programs (Grades K-6):
Our elementary school program inspires imagination and creativity, and academic challenges are met with moments of excitement and growth. Students thrive in a supportive environment with exceptional teachers who genuinely care about them and who facilitate learning by believing in students and encouraging their successes.
Small class sizes produce "communities of learners" who embrace individuality, team learning endeavors, imagination, and academic excellence. Our faculty provides developmentally appropriate challenges that guide students through one success after another.
A variety of curricular experiences focuses on concept development, real life application, and establishing a lifelong love of learning. In addition to our rigorous core academic curriculum, Eldorado Emerson students take courses in art, music, foreign language and P.E., and they grow to become effective lifelong learners and communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible, conscientious 21st citizens.
