Westfield Private School, Johannesburg:
Westfield Private School is located in Muldersdrift (close to all major routes on the West Rand) in the province of Guateng, South Africa, just north of Krugersdorp and 35 km north west of Johannesburg. We provide an excellent educational start for your child. From the moment your child enters Westfield classes they receive high levels of individual attention. We cater for children from Grade 000 to Matric with up to a maximum of 15 children per class. At Westfield we recognize that your child’s education is very special. Our educational programs focus on the needs of the individual and how best to develop and fulfil the educational potential of your child. Strong emphasis is placed on English and Maths with the aim that your child should receive a quality education. Students also enjoy ‘hands on’ visits to local sites with specialists working and living in the area, making their learning experience a reality. Students have access to a variety of extra mural activities and courses.

The school is supported and helped by a wide range of adults. Key amongst these are the school governors who meet regularly to discuss with the Head Teacher and other staff regarding the strategic development of the school.

Westfield School, in the Muldersdrift Village, is set in a spacious, country setting, close to all major routes on the West Rand.

School Accreditation:
Westfield Private School is currently registering with the Gauteng Education Department. All our teaching staff are SACE registered. Registration with the IEB (Independent Examination Board) is also underway. All our students are already following the IEB syllabus, being temporarily registered with the home schooling body who oversee the examinations until the formal registration with the GED is completed.

Westfield caters for children from Grade R to Grade 12 (Matric), with a Nursery Section catering for the 000 and 00 children. Our school is Christian based, non-racial and non-denominational, designed for children in and around the Muldersdrift district.

Pupil/Teacher Ratio:
Classes have up to a maximum of 15 children to one teacher. It is guaranteed that this ratio of 15/1 will not be increased, ensuring individual attention and care.
