 * Portrait Course:  Portrait Drawing Course (6 lessons) with the possibility to further skills in our open classes. Each week will cover one part of the face, beginning with the eyes and ending with the whole face.  On each part of the face you will learn the proper proportional drawing of the subject, what most beginners do wrong, how to create each part with depth of field, making it look alive. And some smart tips about what most art schools leave out.  We have found that students learn the quickest when being taught how not to do it, combined with the knowledge of how to enhance, it becomes not only easy but also very satisfying and enjoyable.

It is also important not only to draw the parts on their own, but to make them sit within the face, meaning the foreshortening elements and the eye for example sitting in a socket, rather than a just a pretty eye sitting on a flat surface. The fold and movements of the face are as important. Most students are amazed on how quickly they are able to pick up the most important issues when drawing a face.
