To obtain a Real Estate License in the State of CT, you need to take the 60-hour Principles & Practices of Real Estate Course and pass the exam with a 70% or better. After that, you may register with the Department of Consumer Protection to take the State Exam. Passing the State Exam with 70% or better will earn you your license.

Continuing Education Requirement:
Once you have your license you need Continuing Education (Post-Licensing) Classes. Every two years, persons with their real estate licenses are required to take four 3-hour Continuing Education classes. We offer plenty of online versions of these courses, but also hold classes in-person.
