General Course: 20-24 hours/week to work on communication and grammar. Intensive Course: 26-30 hours/week ( includes "special interest" classes in the afternoon to deepen your knowledge of the language. If you are not an absolute beginner you will have a placement test and interview upon arrival to decide on your level of Russian and the best course for your individual needs. You will receive a Masterclass certificate on completion of the course.
At Russian classes we work on all the aspects of teaching the language (vocabulary, grammar and phonetics) and skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Our students would often choose topics that are of special interest to them. You may focus on grammar, business language, some aspects of Russian culture, specific vocabulary, etc.).
With small groups (max. 9-10 students) and the communicative approach used in class no one will be able just to "sit back and relax", each student is actively involved in the learning process. We will also have "reality-based" clasess when the students use the language in real-life situations. For example after the topic "food" students will go to the shop to buy products, etc. Our experienced teachers make the clasess interesting and exciting, so come and join in the fun.
