Holy Family Day Home:
For more than 100 years, Holy Family Day Home has been a pioneer in providing educational development for young children while nurturing positive interaction with their families. We offer first class Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten Programs. We are located in San Francisco. Our preschool students meet in Dolores Street and our Infant and Toddler Program takes place in nearby Minna Street. We are proud to serve families in the Castro, Central East, Mission, Buena Vista and neighbouring Bay Area communities.
Location and Facilities:
With the completion of our new building, we provide more than 25,000 square feet of carefully-crafted space for age-appropriate early-childhood growth and development, and for family support and comfort.

- Learning centers which incorporate science, math, art, writing, reading, dramatic play, manipulatives, and areas for small and large group activities.
- Indoor multipurpose rooms for large group, gross motor and extra-curricular activities.
- Therapeutic Play Room to conduct specialized services and curriculum.

- Natural wood furnishings and carpets providing a warm environment conducive to interacting.
- Wonderful outdoor play areas, atypical of urban schools, including climbing structures and open areas for gross motor development, gardens to explore nature and learn about horticulture, playhouses, and various outdoor classroom areas.
- Space for parents to gather resources, meet with each other and staff, attend educational workshops, and utilize computers with internet access.
- Fully equipped commercial kitchen for preparing nutritious homemade dishes daily. Meals are delivered to each classroom where children dine family-style.
