CELEI is at the historic neighbourhood of the Albaicín in Granada. The facility itself is a “Carmen” (traditional house-garden building), enclosed by an 11th century wall from the Alcazaba Cadima. The Center is located a few meters from the scenic vistas of the ‘Mirador de San Nicolas’ and within walking distance from downtown. It is easily accessible by the mini buses that frequently pass through this historic area of Granada.

The building’s facilities include classrooms, space for seminars and workshops, meeting rooms, offices, a specialized library including audio-visual resources and wireless internet access for students. These facilities are expanded by working space from a variety of public and private institutions for the field study projects and thematic seminars as well.
