Travel Sport Camp, France:
Currently, Travel Sport Camp and its affiliate EduKick, host schools and camps in 11 different countries on four continents and continues to grow on a global scale. Travel Sport Camp offers year-long or 1/2 year-long boarding programs to both boys and girls from 16 years and older. Student athletes train in their favorite sport - Basketball, Volleyball or Tennis, in Cannes, one of the best-known cities of the French Riviera, in south-eastern France, on the Mediterranean coast.

Open to both boys and girls from 16 years and older. All ability levels are welcome and no prior sports or foreign language experience is necessary. All levels of French speakers are accepted, from elementary up to native speaker.

Our goal at Travel Sport Camp Cannes is to work with our students on every aspect of academics and athletic training to ensure they maximize their overall experience abroad. All our participants will have an opportunity to develop their language & athletic skills considerably, over an extended period of time, and gain valuable and important sport experience while simultaneously immersed in the study of the French culture and language. The International Colleges of Cannes is a perfect setting for our program. While living on the campus everything the students need is within reach.

Travel Sport Camp Year-Long student athletes are housed at the International Colleges of Cannes, in central Cannes. This provides a safe and secure environment with all of the comforts and conveniences that are required by international students.

Girls and boys will be accommodated separately. Primarily double rooms are offered. Students will be assigned to rooms based on gender, age, interests, etc. Three (3) meals are served daily. Students will eat a typical French cuisine or international food.

A city of 70,000 inhabitants, Cannes is one of the most pleasant cities in France, and is known for its warm climate, beautiful scenery, luxurious and elegant lifestyles and the famous “Palais du festival”.

Travel Sport Camp distinguishes itself with its commitment to safety, security and supervision. Year-long and 1/2 year-long sports boarding school students have adult monitors/mentors assigned to them as part of the program for continual service, supervision and mentorship. Summer program participant events and activities are also carefully monitored and supervised. Program rules and regulations are designed to ensure the safety and security of our participants (i.e. curfews, permission to exit regulations, etc).

All participants are required to carry personal health insurance. During our technical training sessions we have on-site non-emergency-medical trainers and personnel who can provide basic athletic-injury care and support. Travel Sport Camp is committed to establishing an atmosphere that is safe and nurturing for our participants. We believe that after these basic needs are met for our foreign students, an environment conducive to leaning a new language and sports training is made comfortable and effective.

Our technical sports training staff is comprised of professional, licensed French coaches who have extensive experience teaching young athletes. Many of our staff coaches are former professional players in their respective sports. Travel Sport Camp believes that sports in the 21st century is more competitive than ever. Individuals from all over the world are stronger and better trained than they were in the past. To continue to meet these competitive demands requires an integrated approach with attention to four basic areas of performance: technical, tactical, physical and mental. Neglecting any of these denies the student athlete the opportunity for maximum development.

Travel Sport Camp prides itself on excellent communication and reporting. Our camp participants are provided with language progress reports. Year-long sports boarding school student-athletes will receive two (2) technical sport evaluation reports and two (2) academic reports (from the affiliated educational institution). The first reports are sent in January and the second upon the program's conclusion in June.

Travel Sports Camp also provides periodic behavioral/social updates from our Directors in the field. These reports are designed to serve as "updates" on general group activities, excursions, special events and any particular issues that may have transpired. The reports are often accompanied by digital photos or video clips that are emailed to parents for their review and enjoyment.
