WISEL is an English Language School based in Warkworth, Rodney District in the Auckland Region of the North Island of New Zealand. Just 40 minutes from Auckland City, this friendly New Zealand town is close to beaches and adventure activities. You will make a wise choice when you choose to study English at WISEL. We offer general English courses, business English, English with activities, and IELTS exam preparation courses. We are currently completing the registration process with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Homestay:
Many WISEL students choose to stay in a New Zealand homestay while they are studying at WISEL. This gives you the opportunity to practice your English in a typical New Zealand family environment.

A homestay will include accommodation in a New Zealand family. A homestay provides a student with their own room, a study area, and two meals a day at home during the week.  Homestay fees include ongoing supervision and liaison with the homestay family to ensure that the student’s home life is continuing to meet the student’s expectations.

Executive Homestay:
An Executive homestay is specially selected for its quality of accommodation. In an Executive homestay, a student will have their own room and a study area, access to wireless internet, a private bathroom, and transport to the School if the homestay is located more than twenty minutes’ walking distance from the School.

Our Activities programme is specifically designed to enhance your learning experience, provide you with a unique insight into New Zealand’s way of life, and give you a broad cultural understanding in a New Zealand environment. The activities programme is designed to be fun and entertaining, as well as educational. You will get to know other students really well while taking part in our activities, and see some of New Zealand’s most beautiful sights and scenery.

We have more than fifty activities that you can participate in during the year, depending on the season. One of our most popular activities is our regular New Zealand barbecue, held at the School. Students are welcome to invite their homestay families, and enjoy a relaxed, traditional New Zealand barbecue experience.

Our Activities Schedule is a key part of our educational programme. If you enrol at WISEL, you can choose to either enrol in the Activities Programme, which will give you access to all of WISEL’s normal activities at no extra cost.
