Summer English School in Australia for Juniors

Kaplan International Colleges:
Kaplan International Colleges offer English summer courses in Cairns, a city in Queensland on the north-east coast of Australia. Cairns is a 3 hour flight from Sydney. Our summer ESL programs have been designed for young children and teenagers aged between 8 and 15 and can be taken for 1 - 2 weeks. We also offer tailor-made English study tours for juniors throughout Australia and New Zealand in Cairns, Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Auckland and Christchurch. These English tours are for students aged between 10 - 18 and last for two weeks or more.

Our English study tours allow juniors to experience the Australian and New Zealand culture and lifestyle first-hand. The tours may be tailored to any budget or duration as required. English classes are held in well-equipped, centrally located junior English schools in energetic urban environments. Closed group tours are available all year round and integrated tours can also be provided as long as all students are aged 16 or over.

Activities & Excursions in Cairns Summer School Program:
Each child takes part in four or five activities per week during their summer English course which may include sports, walking tours, shopping, beach trips and more. In addition, one full-day excursion is available every other week specially organized by our Cairns summer school.

English Study Tour Activities & Excursions:
Our English study tours include three to five activities per week, depending on your budget. Activities may include sports, city tours or beach trips. Weekend day trips in Australia or New Zealand may be included on request.

The school offers air-conditioned classrooms with direct access to outside balconies, state-of-the-art computer room with free internet access, and an outside terrace with café.

Homestay Program:
Students stay in single rooms in homestay accommodation with carefully selected homestay hosts in the local area. Free daily transport is provided to and from school. Hosts provide all meals – breakfast and dinner at home each day, lunch at home on weekends and a packed lunch to take to school during the week.
