 Summer Camp:

Summer CampHave an unforgettable summer at Instituto Hemingway's International Teenage Summer Camp! We offer a summer camp for boys and girls aged between 13 and 17. This camp provides teenagers with a great opportunity fto learn English or Spanish and to form friendships with young people their own age from all over the world. The summer camp is held in the Angosto Monastery Youth Centre set in the Valdegovia Valley, next to the Valderejo natural park.  The campers can enjoy the rich beauty of the local scenery which is an essential part of the extra-curricular leisure and sports activities program. Students will benefit from the rich artistic and cultural heritage setting, with picturesque villages, magestic castles, watermills, monasteries in the mountains and caves to explore. Cities such as Vitoria, Logroño, Santander, Burgos and Bilbao are easily accessible from the camp.

On arrival at the summer camp, each student must undergo a test to establish their level of language skills. They will then be placed in a group that best meets their individual needs. The camp combines English or Spanish lessons with outdoors activities and sports. The aim of the program is to allow the students to learn and perfect their language skills in an intensive manner through using it with a group that is at the same level as they are. The program is also designed to foster such qualities as independence, teamwork, responsibility, discipline and organization.

 Facilities:

The youth centre where the summer camp is held can hold fifty students in shared rooms spread over three floors. There are separate toilet facilities available for girls and boys. There are also comfortable classrooms, a kitchen, a large lounge/dining room and common rooms for recreational use.
