The Necessary Teacher Training College:
DNS is an international teacher training college with a learning-by-doing approach. The programme is untraditional and challenging (Study trip to Asia, extensive teaching practice in Africa, social work with youngsters in Denmark) and covers a wide variety of theoretical and practical skills, lots of experiences inside many areas and emphasis of personal development of the future teacher through big challenges.

As a student in the DNS program you can regard yourself as part of a global movement. When facing huge tasks like education and development in rural areas, it is needed that many forces join hands. This is the road to actually influencing and changing the situation. This is also a tremendous inspiration to you as an individual teacher, who in this way will see your efforts as part of something bigger.

DNS in Denmark has so far trained app. 500 teachers that are now all over the world, teaching, training, educating, managing and leading.


International Teacher Training Program:

- The 1st year has an International Profile. International studies including a 4-month study trip to Asia, mixed with money earning, teambuilding and practical experiences.

- The 2nd, 3rd and 4th year has a combined teaching practice and study profile. Teaching practice at different levels and in different schools and social institutions in Denmark, other European countries, in Africa - and the final year is Worldwide Teaching Practice – to teach any people, in any country, in any continent.

The education follows the Danish Teacher Training subjects for primary school teachers and enables you to work in private or public schools or projects world wide. The teaching is in English. Requires A-levels or equivalent. The 4-year education is practical- theoretical.

This program is suitable for those who want:

- an education with a "learning by doing" approach
- to study with your team mates through Asia on a 4-month study travel
- to educate primary school teachers in Mozambique
- to work with social vulnerable teenagers in Denmark
