Curriculum
We follow the same principles and philosophy of the British Foundation Stage Curriculum which covers six areas of learning

Social and emotional development
Children should care International Schoolsand be concerned about how to treat living things that surround us. With us they learn the feeling of love for each other as well as for flowers, trees, and animals, and we also have other feelings such as joy and sorrow. We encourage them to take initiative independently, and be their guide in selecting the right activities and resources. We have priority to make them understand what is right and what is wrong. After all the ultimate target is to make them feel confident and develope self respect.

Language and literature
Stories, music, songs, rhymes and drama are our daily practises. Children enjoy talking about their experiences and it consequently increases their vocabulary. The significance of books and their contribution to our development should be made clear. The letters of the alphabet and their shapes and sounds as well as some familiar words should be acquinted with and the children must recognize them. We use drawings to communicate and write names using upper and lower case letters.

Mathematics
Children must learn to use and recognise numbers and shapes, positions and quantities as the mathematical language. By playing games we guide them to recognise and recreate patterns and show how to sort, count and compare. We assist them to solve practical problems and deal with simple mathematical issues like "add one", "take one away" , "how many remain?" We also teach them days of the week and clock times.

Creative development

Children should be given the possibility to explore hearing different sounds and different timbres of musical instruments; seeing an object in three dimensions, its colour and form or shape; tasting sweet and sour and different spices; smelling an odour; touching a texture, etc. Then they should be given the opportunity to demonstrate their imagination by way of dancing, singing songs, imitating sounds, telling stories, drawing, painting, making pottery and hand-crafts.

Knowledge of understanding of the world
This area is about our families, past and present events, our homes and our environment. We discover how and why things happen and how they work. We grow plants and watch fish grow. We learn about what we eat and how foods grow, and also what is inside the fruits, vegetables and other foods. Where do they come from. We learn about other countries and languages to extend children's awareness International Schoolsthat there are others on this planet too.

Physical development
We assist children to be able to demonstrate an awareness of space for themselves as well as for others. We pay attention if they move with confidence and coordination while they are using a wide range of small and large indoor and outdoor equipment which we have at their disposal. We assist them to dress and undress until they can do it by themselves. We make them recognize the importance of being healthy and the contribution of exercise and healthy eating. They learn the significance of team-work while they play group games.
