The Interactive Design Institute - Online:Established in 2004, The Interactive Design Institute (IDI) delivers practical art and design courses online including a Higher Education (HE) Diploma in Interactive Media Design course that centres on the creative use of digital media to produce multimedia content. Our online courses lead to certification by the University of Hertfordshire, one of the UK’s best modern universities. The Diploma Qualification you receive on completion of our accredited online interactive media design course is exactly the same as that awarded to students attending the University of Hertfordshire.
Certification: Completion of Year 1 (Level 4) leads to the award of the Certificate of Higher Education (Cert. HE) and completion of Year 2 (Level 5) leads to the award of the Diploma of Higher Education (Dip. HE). Students then have the option of completing their Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree through attendance at the University of Hertfordshire.
2-Year Higher Education (HE) Diploma in Interactive Media Design:
The main focus of this 2-year course is on the creative use of digital media in order to produce multimedia content. Multimedia design is about the pleasures of using computers to work, play, entertain and to communicate ideas and information.
Multimedia design is about making interactive media such as websites, online social sites, online art and advertisements, interactive guides to places and products, new forms of comics and films, casual games, visionary design at the cutting edge of multimedia communications.
Develop skills and understanding of the processes used to create digital images, to work with digital video, animation and sound, and to make interactive media. In year 2, you can start to specialise in areas of multimedia, or develop as an all-rounder influenced by the things you want to learn more about and the career direction you want to take.
As you work through practical, project based activities, you’ll benefit from the unlimited expert advice, feedback and guidance provided by specialist tutors. Our tutors are all fully qualified specialists in Interactive Media Design and their job is to support you every step of the way, from enrolment to graduation.
