21 . Summer Fields School, Oxford Courses / Programs
Summer Fields School is a boys boarding preparatory school for 7 -13 year olds, set in the rural outskirts of Oxford, the county town of Oxfordshire, in South East England. Summer Fields has always held a strong academic tradition. Over the last five years more than 40 scholarships and awards have been won to major schools including Eton, Harrow, Radley and Winchester. Our talented staff has enormous strengths inside and outside of the classroom. The Sport, Music, Art, Design and Technology, Drama and ICT departments are first-rate.

Set is 70 acres of grounds and playing fields, the facilities are outstanding. As a full-boarding school (including weekends), much of Summer Fields’ culture and educational opportunities take place on the weekend when there is a wealth of activities and excursions organised. Nearly all of the teaching staff live at Summer Fields and are involved in weekend programmes. There is a flexible system for First Years which enables them to go home almost any weekend with the exception of a few closed weekends per term. This flexibility allows our newest Summerfieldians to make a gradual transition to boarding-life as they progress through their first year.

Located in Turners Hill, West Sussex, in South East England, only 50 km from London and 12 km from Gatwick Airport, Worth School is a boarding and day school catering for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18. 23 . Adcote School for Girls, Shrewsbury Courses / Programs
Situated in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in the West Midlands of England, Adcote School for Girls is an independent boarding and day school for girls. Founded in 1907, Adcote is the only 'purely girls' independent school in Shropshire providing a Montessori nursery, junior and senior schools. We also offer learning support, a gifted and talented programme as well as English language courses for international students. As a school we aim to offer an excellent academic education as well as access to a wide range of music, drama and sport. The school has excellent full-time, weekly or occasional boarding facilities for girls aged 7 to 18.

There is a happy mixture of local girls and those whose homes are elsewhere in the UK, with students from other countries who have chosen to study in England. Adcote is a full termly boarding school, and girls are well looked after, not only during the week but at weekends, too. Situated on Lonsdale Road, London Borough of Brent in north west London, St Paul's School is a boarding and day school for boys from year 9-13 with boarding facilities available for boys of 16+ (year 11 upwards). The School has a strong academic tradition to which staff are committed. A good education must also develop character and a sense of values, and must strike the right balance between the intellectual, physical and spiritual. With this aim in view, we offer extensive sporting facilities and a wide range of extra-curricular activities to cater for each individual pupil.

Boarding has always been part of the school's provision and continues to play an important role here for many families. We offer full, weekly and flexi boarding options. As well as accommodating boys for whom the daily commute to this part of London would be impractical, we have a number of boys whose parents have relocated abroad or to other parts of the UK. We are very close to central London, only four miles from Piccadilly (a 20-minute tube journey). Heathrow Airport is 20 minutes away.
