London Art Portfolio:
Located in Central London next to Tower Bridge, London Art Portfolio (LAP) runs art and design portfolio preparation specialist courses in the day and evening throughout the year as well as bespoke one-one tutorials. We have a number of studios where we deliver training in the following fields: painting, sculpture, fashion and textile design, fashion photography, animation and illustration. LAP was set up by Julia Dennis, a practicing artist who exhibits regularly, nationally and internationally.

London Art Portfolio welcomes beginners and can offer support and training for professional artists and designers too. We are popular with UCAS and Foundation applicants for online and portfolio development support. Julia has 100% success rate for student placement onto University courses at the best London Universities and Foundation courses. Our courses attract a vibrant, diverse mix of creative students from all over the world, great for making new friends and fully enjoying London too!

London Art Portfolio was set up by Julia Dennis, who is highly experienced in preparing portfolios for all specialist areas of art & design. During her career, Julia has placed almost 1,000 students onto HE courses in art and design, many progressing into highly successful careers. Julia has lectured on degree courses and has been a Course Leader of a Foundation Course and a National Diploma in Fine Art and Design. She also helps students with ongoing coursework and UCAS applications for degree, and post-graduate courses.

Previously, Julia was teaching in sculpture part time at Leeds University and in mixed media fine art at various London Universities and in Sussex. Prior to that, Julia was Course leader of a National Diploma in Fine Arts in Sussex for 9 years, Her students included a mix of age ranges including mature students who wanted to re-train, or were aiming to go to University.

In Europe Julia has taught in the UK and Italy and designed a project for an International EU funded project with FE & HE partners in Finland, Sweden and Belgium, which was highly successful. In Italy she taught at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Turin, where she co-ordinated a drawing program for the degree design departments. She is fluent in Italian, oral and written and has a fair understanding of French and Spanish. Many of her ex-students live and work abroad now.

London Art Portfolio runs one-to-one tutorials; day and evening art and design portfolio preparation courses: 10 week evening course, one week course, intense 4 week, 6 week and 12 week courses (4 days per week - 10am-1pm) throughout the year. These are brilliant for getting you back to art and design at any time of your career and year.
