Columbia International College:
Columbia International College is the largest private junior and senior boarding high school in Canada. Located in Hamilton, Ontario, Columbia believes in the individuality of each student and tailors its resources to effectively meet the unique academic, social, emotional and physical (ASEP) needs of our students. As a result, 100 per cent of our students since 1995 have received admission to top universities worldwide, many with scholarships.
Co-educational High School Program (Grades 9 -12)
At Columbia, we apply our ASEP assessment process to determine the student’s learning characteristics. Then our team of education experts will design a Personalized Success Plan (PSP) for each student.
Based on the academic component of the PSP, our team of education experts will guide the student on:
- The number of courses to take each semester
- The time needed to complete their entire academic program
- The selection of courses to meet personal interests or career goals
- The choices to aim for in post-secondary education
During the year, our team of education experts will follow closely the student’s academic performance. Based on the progress report, they will adjust the academic component of the student’s Personalized Success Plan (PSP) accordingly.
