Located in the center of Seattle, Washington, Seattle Learning Academy offers ESL programs with a difference. Communication is essential, and SLA students often find themselves speaking more during meetings, writing more emails, understanding more in the media, becoming more confident on the telephone, and connecting more with their communities. SLA teaches intermediate through advanced English as a Second Language (ESL) skills that other schools often don't address.
In our pronunciation classes we address the ever-difficult r sound, and all the other vowels in English while in our Meeting and Presentation Class we show you how to direct a meeting, how to steer it into a new direction when it is necessary, and how to receive input from everyone involved. SLA's students benefit from this curriculum focus by becoming easier to understand, comprehending more, becoming more accurate in English, and increasing their confidence in every aspect of their English communication.

The Intensive English Language Center (IELC), located on the campus of California State University, Bakersfield, Kern County in central California, is an intensive American English language program designed to prepare undergraduate and graduate students for successful academic study in the United States.
The non-credit program offers courses in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, including pronunciation. In addition, classes are also offered in grammar, American Culture, vocabulary, academic study skills, including TOEFL preparation. I-20's are issued for study in the program. IELC, also, welcomes persons who want to improve their English for professional or personal reasons.

The English Language and Culture Institute (ELCI) is a professional resource for English language learning and cross-culture training located in the School of Education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama in the southern region of the USA. English language study: English for Academic Purposes, English for Corporate/Professional Purposes, and English for the Community.
Cross-cultural communication seminars are also available for groups interested in increasing their cross-cultural knowledge and communicative ability. America Nursing offers an English Immersion & TOEFL Course (EIT-Course) in Clermont, west of Orlando in Lake County, Florida, on the south eastern tip of the United States. The intensive, 4-week TOEFL preparation course is held in Clermont, a gorgeous lake-front community in Central Florida. The accomodation for your studies is a unique lake-front bungalow that offers a relaxed environment and an ideal atmosphere to promote learning and achieving the needed language skills to pass the TOEFL examination the first time!
Are you planning to work as a nurse in the United States or study at American University? We can help you achieve a satisfactory TOEFL score while having "Fun in the Sun" here in Clermont, FLORIDA. America Nursing has specialized, experienced instructors who are able to give individual attention to each student. During the week, the small group (5 students) will have 6 hours of classroom work. In the afternoon and weekends there will be planned community involvement, cultural activities and excursion to promote conversational exercises. The TOEFL iBT examination is administered at the end of the course.
