Indy Foreign Language Academy (IFLA) is a Spanish language school with locations in Indianapolis, IN & Carmel, IN. We offer a range of Spanish language instruction services, from intensive immersion programs for business to entertaining and educational Spanish language beginner courses for children, teens and adults. Our goal is to provide top-notch language instruction services at an affordable price. Group Spanish Classes
These classes are designed for individuals looking for language instruction in a group setting. This may be suitable for companies seeking language instruction for a group of employees, or groups of family members or friends who want to study together.Our public group classes are held at our offices in downtown Indianapolis and in Carmel. Each class session is 1.5 hours or 2 hours in length. Classes meet either once or twice per week. Instruction in other languages (including Spanish, French, Russian, German and Italian) and at other times can also be scheduled according to students' needs. We can also provide private and group instruction at your office/business.
Our group classes offer:
•Speaking, listening, reading and writing with the primary focus on speaking and listening
•Structure, vocabulary, culture and pronunciation
•An avera
ge of six to eight students per class, minimum of three

Intensive Weekend
Learn the Spanish basics with a full day of instruction, including lunch. Our approach is conversational in nature, with grammar reinforced through continuous conversation and application. Various multimedia sources are used to reinforce retention of vocabulary and grammar. The goal is to surround you in Spanish to the greatest degree possible.
Travel Essentials: Spanish
Planning a trip to Mexico or Costa Rica? In a hurry to learn what you need to enjoy the beaches of Puerto Rico? Join us for a three-hour class designed specifically for travelers. Learn basic phrases to use while visiting Latin American and take home a CD to help you practice on the plane.
Destination: Latin America
Make the most of your next trip! This fun and entertaining four-week course gives you basic Spanish phrases without having to learn any of the grammar. You’ll learn basic greetings, numbers, how to ask for directions, answer basic questions, and, of course, order your favorite meal in a restaurant or bar! The final class is held at an authentic Spanish restaurant to give you more practice ordering. Don't leave without taking this course.
Spanish Explorers
This introductory level course in Spanish is designed for children ages 6-10. Students learn basic everyday phrases and vocabulary to establish a basis for future learning. This course combines conversation, reading, and hands-on activities with multimedia teaching techniques such as music and video. Each session is 6 weeks long and meets twice per week.
Spanish for the Family
Children ages 3-5 and their families will enjoy this course. Parents, grandparents or guardians join their children in our colorful classroom to learn Spanish words and phrases that they can use at home, too! Conversation, games and hands-on activities makes this a fun and educational session for the whole family. Each session is six weeks long and meets twice per week.
