Maritime Training Fornells is based in Menorca (Minorca), one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea belonging to Spain and offers yachting courses including day skipper, coastal skipper, yachtmaster offshore and a VHF marine radio (SRC) course in Menorca as well as Barcelona in Catalunia, eastern Spain. We have been involved in RYA training programs for over 30 years and bring a lifetime of yachting experiences to all our activities. We provide a comprehensive range of courses, ashore, under power and sail together with our friends in multiple locations.

Our courses are delivered to meet your individual needs and pace. We also organize the practical assessments for Yachtmaster® Certificates of competence and offer adventure cruises, to enhance your spirit of adventure and cruising skills. Through our professional careers we have developed innovative development and training programs, gaining UK national awards.

We are a family run teaching centre built on thirty years of yachting and training experience. Yachting is all about developing you sense of adventure in a safe and controlled way. You decide the pace of development with us. We can take you through RYA syllabus and enhance it with personal experiences and coaching.

We have a passion for our yachting, be it sail or power and we want to share this with you. It is our aim to help you develop your skills in order that you get the maximum enjoyment from your yachting. Confidence grows from knowledge and experience. We will encourage and help in your skills development at all levels. We hope some of our love of yachting rubs off on the way.

We believe that it is important to get into the spirit of cruising. You should enjoy the new destination, arrivals, departures and the journey. It is important to us that you sample the culture, food and friendship. Enjoy the waters!

We have a professional approach to all our activities from Start Yachting to Ocean Yachtmaster training. Our experience in professional development training has been recognised in UK National training awards. This experiences is being applied to our yachting activities

Our family and friends have grown up around our yachting activities. We understand the demands of sailing with families and the pressures of both leisure and professional courses.

We tailor our courses to the capabilities and demands of the clients. Be it early stage families to adventurous professionals or relaxed cruising we aim to please. We hope to be able to meet the pace and aspirations with exciting and challenging activities.
