Prague Yoga:
Our studio was founded in 2004 by Monica Angelucci, who has been teaching Yoga in the Prague community for almost 5 years. Monica believes that Yoga is not about the poses, rather it is about learning to be present in every moment, beginning with the body. She believes that the greatest gift one can give is the ability to be present with yourself and the community of people in your life.
Location and Facilities:
We are based in Prague, Czech Republic (CR). Located in central Europe and an EU member, CR borders Austria, Germany, Poland and Slovakia. Amazing cultural opportunities such as the ballet & opera abound in Prague, as well as sporting events, such as football and hockey. Prague offers efficient and inexpensive public transportation within the city limits and to other cities and countries. Part of the former Austro-Hungarian empire until after WWI, the CR boasts large numbers of castles and chateaux, such as Karlštejn and Český Krumlov. Several natural springs can be found in spa towns such as Karlovy Vary. And, the CR hosts an extensive network of hiking and biking trails in mountain regions such as Šumava and Krkonoše. In winter, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy skiing and snowboarding in these areas.
