From our TEFL training centre in the heart of Sydney, Pitt Street Mall, the Galleries Victoria, The Strand Arcade, the Spanish and Korean quarters, Hyde Park, Oxford Street and many other attractions are easily reached on foot, by bus or train .
Accommodation:
We can arrange accommodation for you during your TEFL course in Sydney, but you are of course free to make your own arrangements. The TEFL training centre in Sydney has partnered with a local hostel, Big Hostel, which is located at 212 Elizabeth Street, in Surry Hills. It's a short bus trip from the city. Big Hostel offers cheap, clean accommodation. You can choose to have a single room or you can share with others in a dormitory-style room, at a lower rate. The TEFL accommodation provides share and en suite bathroom facilities.
You may wish to make your own arrangements, and Sydney is certainly not short of budget backpacker accommodation. We do however recommend Big Hostel and you will be housed with your fellow TEFL trainees and will be able to discuss course-related issues such as lesson planning, points of teaching and grammar.
Should you be looking at premium accommodation during your TEFL course, Sydney has a number of excellent hotels to choose from. We recommend you arrange this kind of accommodation yourself online. Prices generally begin at around $180 per day.
