Professional TESOL/TKT Diploma Course:
The Professional TESOL/TKT Diploma is a full-time course designed for international students. During these eight weeks students will learn varied techniques for teaching reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation and also greatly improve their English. Each week students will also observe other ESL teachers to learn an array of instruction styles and methods. Lectures will be given from Cambridge’s TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Program so students will be able to better challenge this internationally recognized examination. Practice tests will also be given weekly from TKT past examinations so students can familiarize themselves with the test format and difficulty.

In addition to weekly in-class microteachings, TESOL students will have the opportunity to teach beginner English students on a weekly basis. After finishing this course students will be given placement priority at PPC’s Cambridge TEST Center if they wish to challenge the official TKT Examination.

TESOL Diploma Course:
The TESOL Diploma is a four-week course intended for international students who seek knowledge of basic language teaching concepts. During these four weeks students will learn the essentials of ESL teaching methodologies and andragogy. Each week students will observe a wide variety of classes and instructional styles. Upon completion of this course students will learn professional presentation skills, basic teaching techniques and will gain the confidence to improve their English.

Class Objectives:

- To learn theories of teaching ESL
- To develop flexibility, creativity and long term aims in the classroom

TEC Diploma:
The TEC [TESOL for Teaching English to Children] Diploma is a four-week, 108-hour course designed for students with upper-intermediate to advanced English levels. This intensive course will enable students to understand the theory and practice of teaching English to children. Students will learn the target skills and objectives specific to young children, as well as various styles and methods to teach them effectively. Topics covered range from classroom management to curriculum development, and from teaching with mixed media to planning and teaching topic-based lessons.
