University Of Saskatchewan:
CERTESL is an award-winning independent study program designed and delivered by the Centre for Continuing & Distance Education (CCDE) at Saskatoon's University of Saskatchewan, a respected presence in distance education and online learning. Accredited by TESL Canada, SCENES and TESL Ontario, and recognized by other professional associations of ESL teachers in Canada, the CERTESL program is highly regarded for the quality of TESOL training it provides to current and prospective teachers of ESL/EFL.
 
CERTESL is a distance-delivered university-based ESL/EFL/ESD teacher training program that can be taken from anywhere in the world.  It is a 250-hour, 18 credit, 6 course program. Some courses may be taken on campus. Completers of the on-campus Summer TEFL Intensive at the University of Saskatchewan may be eligible for transfer credit and an application bursary.
