Royal Cambridge College offers unique TESOL programs in downtown Vancouver, southwestern British Columbia in Canada. The Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) & Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) Program consists of three (3) modules which cover the full spectrum of teaching English to non-English speakers from theoretical lessons to practical situational examples. The Program lasts 8 weeks and concentrates on skills and knowledge required to become an English teacher including language structure, development techniques, teaching methods for different age groups, classroom management, and much more!

Program Highlights:
* A uniquely designed 8-week intensive program to train students with teaching skills and methodology as well as to guide success at the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test
* Students will be introduced to many dimensions of English teaching and have the opportunity to explore the theory to practice in our microteaching sessions
* Topics are revised through out the course in order to provide additional reinforcement and build confidence
* TEC (Teaching English to Children) training is included in the course
* Extensive introduction to strategies for taking the Cambridge TKT
* Training includes a range of tasks and three complete practice TKTs, providing a comprehensive package for TKT candidates
* Upon successful completion of this program, students will be awarded a TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other L
anguages) Diploma, a TEC (Teaching English to Children) Diploma from Royal Cambridge College and a TKT(Teaching Knowledge Test) Certificate from University of Cambridge.

* 8 weeks
1st Class 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
2nd Class 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Lunch Break 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
3rd Class 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
4th Class 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
# There are 10-minute scheduled breaks between each morning class and afternoon class
# Time table for Friday is morning 1st and 2nd period classes, and afternoon free period
Admission Requirements
* Cambridge FCE, TOEIC 650, TOEFL-PBT 500, TOEFL-IBT 65, TOEFL-CBT 175, Royal Cambridge College standard test or successful completion of PET level at Royal Cambridge College
* Entrance interview and essay required

Module 3 Classroom Management and Language in the Classroom:
Using language appropriately, Functional classroom language range, Teacher roles, Grouping learners, Correcting learners+giving feedback, Multi-level classes, Categorizing mistakes, Fulfilling teacher roles, Addressing group needs.
Module 4 Classroom Management and Language in the Classroom:
Management techniques, Classroom discipline, Control techniques, Rewards, Sample Test/ Exam, Classroom procedures, Behavior management, Reasons for misbehavior, Module 3 Review/
