Language Studies Canada (LSC) is a private language school located in midtown Toronto, Ontario. We offer an intensive 4 week CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) certification course. CELTA is an ELT (English Language Teaching) certificate, which encompasses TESL and TEFL. We also offer a 4 week TEFL diploma course for foreign students that wish to teach English in their home country.

CELTA Certification:
CELTA is the most widely recognized and respected international certificate offered in Canada, administered by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, England and recognised by TESL Canada. Additionally, successful CELTA graduates possessing a university degree may apply to TESL Canada for certification.

The CELTA course is intended for native speakers of English and those whose English is of native-speaker level. All trainers have undergone extensive preparation in order to qualify as CELTA tutors and are approved by Cambridge ESOL. Class size is limited to a maximum of six candidates per trainer.
